To ensure top-quality services on the platform, every gig profile that is created or edited is automatically flagged for moderator review. The moderator checks that the profile meets Mucanto’s guidelines and standards before it goes live or the changes take effect.
When Does a Review Get Triggered?
A moderator review is automatically triggered whenever a musician:
- Creates a new profile.
- Edits an existing profile.
The gig profile will not be visible to clients until the review is completed and the gig profile is approved.
Gig Profile Statuses
After a review is triggered, your gig profile will be assigned one of the following statuses by the moderator:
| Status | What It Means |
| Pending Review | Your profile will go live after completing your payout profile and billing information and passing the moderator review. |
| Verified | Your profile has been approved by a moderator and is now live. Your journey with Mucanto starts here. |
| Changes Requested | The moderator has sent feedback on what needs to be corrected. Please make the requested changes so your profile can go live as soon as possible. |
| Paused | Your profile is paused and will not appear in search results. You are still required to fulfil all previously accepted bookings. |
| Deleted | Your profile does not comply with the platform’s policies and has been permanently deleted. |
