Deleting your payout account directly impacts your ability to receive payments and accept new bookings. Please read this article carefully before making any changes.
Automatic Payout Account Deletion
Your payout account will be automatically deleted if any of the following apply:
- Your account remains inactive for more than 1 month after connecting to Stripe.
- You have no gigs within 1 month of connecting to Stripe for payouts.
- You have not logged into the app for more than 1 month.
Immediate Impact on Your Profile
When you delete your payout account, all your gigs will be paused immediately. This means:
- Clients cannot find or reach you through the platform.
- New bookings are disabled.
- Your profile becomes invisible to potential clients.
Payment Processing
Verified Events
All payments for verified events will remain in pending status until you re-validate your payout account. This affects both current and future earnings from completed performances.
Confirmed Events
You can still perform at already confirmed events. However, once verified, all associated payments will remain pending until your payout account is restored.
Payment Status Indicators
If your billing or payout information is missing, payments will be held and marked with one of the following statuses:
- Missing Payout Information: Your withdrawal method needs to be set up.
- Missing Billing Information: Your billing details require completion.
- Pending: Withdrawal is being processed based on your subscription plan.
Restoring Your Payout Account
After reactivating your payout account:
- Pending payments will be processed within a few days.
- Processing times follow your current subscription’s withdrawal policy.
- All previously held payments will be released according to normal procedures.
Commission & Invoicing During Suspension
Regardless of your payout status, standard commission rates are deducted from all earnings and invoices are issued for all payment statuses (pending, funded, failed, or completed). Financial records are maintained throughout the suspension period.
Best Practices
To avoid payment delays or automatic account deletion:
- Stay active: Log into the app at least once per month.
- Book regularly: Ensure you have active bookings within your first month after connecting to Stripe.
- Complete your information: Keep both payout and billing details up to date before making any account changes.
- Review pending payments before making any account changes.
- Set reminders to log in regularly during quiet booking periods.
- Contact support if you experience technical issues — do not delete your account as a first step.
