Invoices from Mucanto to You

Based on European tax law and our role as a marketplace, we issue invoices to you for commissions, penalties, and subscriptions.

Invoices from You to Clients

According to the law, you are responsible for issuing invoices to your clients. To support you with this, we’ve built an Payments & Invoices module that make it easy to gather all the necessary information and generate appropriate invoices.

Tax Collection & Reporting

In compliance with EU regulations, we collect and calculate taxes when required, based on the event location. Taxes are added on top of your total event cost, ensuring your profit is not reduced and you can properly account for them in your tax reporting.

Reverse Charge Mechanism

For musician companies based in the EU, invoices between Mucanto and the company fall under the reverse charge mechanism, in accordance with EU regulations. As a result, we do not apply VAT to commissions or subscription plans.

ⓘ Further Reading You can find detailed information about where VAT applies to taxable transactions at the official EU resource: EU VAT Directive — Place of Taxable Transactions.
