Notifications for Clients & Musicians

Mucanto keeps you informed at every step — from booking requests and upcoming events to payments and reviews. Notification settings apply to both musicians and clients and can be managed directly from the app or your device settings.


1. Overview

Each notification category can be toggled independently for in-app notifications and email notifications, giving you full control over how and where you receive updates. Some notifications are mandatory and cannot be disabled — see the note at the bottom of this article.


2. Notification Types

The following notification categories are available to all users:

3. Guest Mode Notifications

When using the mobile app in Guest Mode, a limited set of notification options is available. These notifications ensure you stay informed about key platform activity even without a registered account.

  • Promotional Content: Toggle on or off to receive promotional notifications from the platform.
  • Newsletters: Opt in or out of occasional emails about events, offers, and news.
ⓘ Note Booking, payment, and review notifications are only available once you have created and logged into a full account. Guest Mode provides access to general platform notifications only.

4. Managing Your Notifications

You can update your notification preferences at any time from the Notification Settings section in your account. Each category can be toggled independently for in-app and email channels.

For push notifications on mobile, you can also manage permissions directly from your device settings.

⚠ Important Some notifications are necessary for security, legal, or service operation reasons and cannot be disabled from the app. You can manage all notifications in your device settings.
