What is “Unverified — Expired”?
An event is classified as Unverified — Expired when neither the musician nor the client completes the verification process through the mobile app by the event’s scheduled end time.
Escalation Process
When an event remains unverified after its end time, the case is automatically escalated to our moderation team for investigation and resolution.
The assigned moderator will review all available information provided by both parties, including:
- Communication records between the client and musician.
- Any evidence of event completion or non-completion.
- Reported issues or circumstances affecting verification.
- Platform activity and timing data.
Resolution Outcomes
Based on the evidence reviewed, the moderator will make one of two decisions:
Option 1 — Refund to Client
- A full refund is processed to the client.
- Indicates the event did not take place as scheduled.
Option 2 — Payment to Musician
- Payment is released to the musician.
- Confirms the event was successfully completed.
Penalty Application
Regardless of the moderator’s decision, a 20% penalty is applied to the responsible party. The penalty is determined based on the moderator’s findings regarding which party was responsible for the verification failure.
Prevention Guidelines
The most effective way to avoid an Unverified — Expired status is to ensure both parties complete verification through the mobile app within the designated timeframe. To help with this:
- Complete verification promptly during the event timeframe.
- Maintain clear communication if technical issues arise.
- Contact support immediately if you experience verification problems.
- Keep documentation of event completion where possible.
